Welcome to the new Citroen Car Club website.

To get full benefit from the site, you need to register and log in to it. We promise never to share your information outside of the Citroen Car Club, and not to use your registration details for any purpose other than to manage the use of the site.

First, you need to create a new user ID on the website, if you don't already have one.

You will see a section in the left menu, entitled 'User's Login', with space for the user name and password. Just below this, you'll see 'New User? Sign Up!' Click here.

You will be given three options - to login, to register  or to retrieve a lost password.
If you don't already have a user name and password, click the second option, to register.

As a bare minimum, the only information you need to provide is a user name and a valid email address. This user name can be a maximum of 25 characters, and can't include any 'space' characters.

Please make sure that the email address you give works, as your password will be emailed to you. You'll need to type the email address twice to make sure there's no typos in it.

If you want the email address to be hidden from other users, tick the first checkbox.

Make sure you tick the second checkbox to show that you agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy for the website - click on the phrases 'Terms of Use' and 'Privacy Policy' next to this checkbox to read them.

Don't worry about the second part of this form, the optional information - while it will certainly help us if you enter your real name and your CCC membership number, and you may wish to advertise a website of your own in your forum postings, you have another option to do this when you're logged on.

Finally, click on 'Submit', wait a minute, and check your email for a message containing your confirmation and your password.

Now that you have your user name and password, you can log on.

In the 'User's Login' section, fill in your user name and password - the password will show as one * for each character you type. Click on the 'Remember me' checkbox if you're using your own computer, and don't want to have to log in every time you visit the site. Your name and password will be remembered for up to 14 days between visits.

When you've logged in, you will be able to change your password yourself, to something you can more easily remember, by going to the Main Menu section of the left hand side of the site, and clicking on 'My Information'. The personal information form you will be taken to allows you to easily change many of your personal details, including your password - enter the new password in both of the two spaces provided, to make sure you haven't made a typo which could lock you out of the site.

When you've made any changes to the other information on here, click the 'Submit Changes' button at the bottom.

Right. You're now registered on the site, and able to use some of the features available. However, if you're a Citroen Car Club Member, you'll find there's lots more available if we verify that.

Back on the left of the page, you'll find the 'Club Member?' menu. Click on 'Upgrade your Web Access', and you'll be given a short form to fill in that will help us identify you as a club member.

Please bear in mind that we're just club members too, trying to find time to administer the site, but we'll check your membership details and allow you access to the rest of the website as soon as we can.

You now have full access to the Citroen Car Club website - Have a look around, and see what you think! We look forward to seeing your comments, questions and answers in the forum, and to seeing your photographs in the Photo Gallery.

Separate documentation will be available on the various features and functions of the website, from the 'How to use this website' section of the 'About the Club' menu on the left.
