90th Anniversary Celebrations at Citroen London West

I met up with Alan Lloyd, General Manager of Citroën West London (Chiswick) at the Capel Classic Bike & Car Show on Sunday, who gave me details of the celebrations taking place at their showroom over the weekend of the 11th/13th September.

Their intention is to clear out their showroom of all modern Citroëns and replace them with a retro display of Vintage & Classic models which depict the marque through the years.

This is where you come in. If you have a suitable model, which you would be prepared to loan them for the period of the event please send an e-mail to jennifer.spragg@citroenlw.co.uk as soon as possible. You may also telephone Jennifer or Alan on 020 8987 4000 for further information.

Citroën London West (Chiswick) is wholly owned by Citroën UK, so your car will be in safe hands and you will presented with a celebratory 90th Anniversary plaque and a small gift In some cases they may be able to collect your car by transporter if delivery is inconvenient.

Other members are invited to visit the showrooms over the three days with their classic or modern Citroën. On Friday 11th they are specifically inviting owners of 2CV, Ami, Visa & LN models to join them with their cars. On Saturday 12th the emphasis will be on The Traction, H Van, DS and SM models. On Sunday 13th it is the turn of the AX, CX, XM, GS and BX. If these dates are not convenient you will be welcome on any day. If you do not own of the above you will,of course, be welcome to attend the event to admire the display.

They will also be holding an 'Autojumble' of brand new, but obsolete parts and handing out prizes for the best turned out vehicles.
