A reminder that members have been invited by Citroën UK to participate in the above programme.
Those eligible will be intending to book their Citroën, including the new DS range, into an authorised dealer at some time this year for a service, including Summer & Winter checks..
Due to an unforgivable bit of brain-fade on my part, the August Citroenian does not include important information for anybody thinking of attending the Northern Section's Eaton Hall meeting on the 30th.
The Scottish Section will hold a display on the Concorse of the Riverside Museum, Glasgow on Sunday 27th September. We held a similar display in 2013 and it was very well received by the public visiting the Museum. We hope to put on as good a display, if not better this year. If you wish to take part please get in contact. All vehicles must be on site for 10.15am due to H&S regulations. Our A.G.M will be held in the museum boardroom at 10.30am See you there!
Citroën UK are now offering members 10% discount on items purchased from their Webstore, which you will find at https://webstore.citroen.co.uk
Also free standard delivery (3/5 days) on orders over £25.
I am pleased to report that I have been in negotiation with Citroën UK regarding a new initiative they have proposed for the benefit of our members.
This is an Affinity Scheme they are setting up with a number of outside organisations and they felt it appropriate to start with the Citroën Car Club.
We've been looking after Club members since 1949 so we know what we're talking about when it comes to Citroën the marque, its heritage and that elusive ingredient that makes these cars so special, even today.
Clearly, it's a combination of our name, reputation and experience that accounts for the 4000+ Citroën vehicles in our ranks. In fact, it's probably fair to say that many of the older models wouldn't be on our roads today if this Club hadn't provided timely expert advice and technical camaraderie to model owners during this period.
