C8

C8Following the success of the Eurovan, sold by Citroen in the UK as the Synergie, a more sophisticated replacement came along in 2002. Based on the same platform (although lengthened and widened) as the predecessor, the Eurovan 2 shared the same SEVEL joint-venture background and multiple badging - this time as the Citroen C8, Peugeot 807, Fiat Ulysse and Lancia Phedra. Cosmetic differences between the four brands were slightly more marked than previously, with more significant changes to the sheet metal. Again, all four were produced on the same lines in Valenciennes, Northern France, with PSA again providing a range of engines (broadly similar to those in the C5/407) for all four.

As with the Synergie, there were no major changes to the vehicle during it's life, only a minor facelift in 2008 before being discontinued - with no immediate replacement - in 2010.
