Gear Changing while Braking

Example: the 4th speed (see pl.33).

During braking, it is necessary to declutch while gear changing. The engine speed decreases and consequently the flow of the engine feed pump, the automatic clutch piston goes up, actuating the automatic clutch slide; this closes the return of the clutch cylinder: see adjusting point of engagement.
